Läkarförbundet and SYLF

I've been following SYLF (young doctors association) on facebook for many years. Recently I sent them a message about AT and got a very nice response but that also said that I need to be a member in order to get infividual support. I am unsure what sort of support it will provide me, but I have finally taken the initiative to be a member of Läkarförbundet and SYLF. Until now I have received their weekly paper Läkartidningen. I came to know that there is a kind of trial?(carens) period of six months before I am entitled to individual guidance. I was also advised to contact local office in my city. I haven't done that yet. I will keep updating about if and how it helped me or what role it played. Initial contact gives the impression of positive energy, like someone accepts us when employers seem so distant and unapproachable. Going into 2020

I am a Pakistani doctor from DMC Karachi who never dreamt of USMLE or PLAB but somehow ended up in the seldom heard of country (at least by me at that time) of Sweden. I am also an introvert and have quite a few non-social interests such as crafting, baking, reading, all this fit perfectly in to the slightly cold society and very cold weather of Sweden. The language was interesting but took longer than I had been informed, but I was still very positive. And then came the process of proving where my education from Pakistan stands in front of the very well developed nation of Sweden.
